Krystle WatsonKrystle Watson – Customer Account Manager

Krystle has worked in communication for over 5 years. As a public speaker instructor at Western Washington University, she taught a quarter long lecture. In addition to her B.A. in Communications from WWU, she has a M.A. in Organizational and Corporate Communication from Emerson College. Prior to joining SNP, she served as the corporate communication manager for a Boston-based environmental firm.

At SNP Seattle, Krystle enjoys creating audience-specific communication strategies and content. She also enjoys providing communication and management coaching, as well as teaching public speaking classes.

During her downtime, Krystle enjoys hiking through Washington’s mountains with her dog.

Jeff LashinsJeff Lashins – Customer Account Manager

Jeff joined SNP in 2010 and delivers all the services SNP offers.  He is currently managing some of SNP’s key accounts, producing various media products, and teaching many of the classes.

Jeff comes to us after a career as an architect and educator.  He holds a Bachelors degree in English from Colgate University and a Masters of Architecture from Southern California Institute of Architecture.

A native New Yorker, Jeff has been in California for the last 15 years.  He currently lives in Oakland with his wife, daughter, and 90 pound dog in a craftsman house that he and his wife tirelessly renovated themselves….before they had a child.

Kristin graduated with honors from UC Santa Barbara, earning a BA in English and a minor in Professional Writing and Editing. Her understanding of audience-focused content, varied writing styles, and concise messaging – all held together with a pinch of grammar snobbery – makes her a perfect fit for SNP. She delivers broadcast content and enjoys training business leaders through our classes.

A Bay Area native, Kristin is happily living in San Francisco after a stint in Southern California. She loves exploring the city, trying new restaurants, and finding any excuse to be outside. Kristin spends her (ever-dwindling) idle moments watching sports, cooking, reading, and fawning over dogs.

Nick ParmarNick Parmar – Director of Business Development, Eastern Region

After graduating with a degree in economics from Trinity College in Connecticut in 1999, Nick moved to San Francisco where he worked on the equity trading desk at Barclays Global Investors.  Eventually realizing he preferred people to numbers, he headed to New York City to serve as director of client relations at Drill Team Media, a leading non-traditional marketing and communications company.  He has also consulted for the marketing team at Rainforest Alliance, the world-renowned conservation non-profit.

All of this led him to SNP, where his skills in communications and relationship building were an easy fit to lead business development efforts in the Eastern Region.

Nick lives in Brooklyn and is a food, music and dog lover.

Katherine Daiss – Customer Account Manager

Katherine graduated from UC Berkeley with a B. A. in Communications and a minor in Global Poverty. She first explored those interests when she wrote website and product content for a company selling fair-trade goods. Her curiosity for different cultures sent her to India to work for a labor rights campaign where she put her communication skills to work in public speaking engagements and creating educational material. Upon returning  to San Francisco, she came to SNP where she enjoys working with a variety of customers to support their communication goals.

When not at work, you will find Katherine engaging in physical activity somewhere outdoors.

Zach Carlsen – Customer Account Manager

Zach comes to us from a Manager and Coaching background.  Prior to joining SNP, he held the position of Claims Customer Service Manager and Trainer for Liberty Mutual Insurance.  He has previous experience in residential real estate along with coordinating and developing youth programs for the City of Seattle.  In college he earned two B.A.'s from Seattle University in Communication Studies and Humanities .

Currently in the evenings Zach coaches women's basketball at North Seattle Community College and is entering his second season. When not working he enjoys playing basketball, watching movies, and traveling. Born in Santa Barbara, California, Zach currently resides in the Seattle area with his 9 year old daughter, Isabelle.

Nella McNabb Kathy Hassanein – Head Coach

Kathy brings over 15 years of strategic counsel and communications experience, and is the SNP Communications’ Head Coach.

Kathy’s pragmatic, creative approach to 1:1 coaching focuses on helping coachees own their own success through examining values, identifying strengths and weaknesses and working through real-world scenarios to achieve tangible outcomes. Her coaching covers such areas as executive presence, cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration, presentation skills, influence, negotiation and clear, precise communication.

Prior to joining SNP, Kathy practiced law with a number of firms including:  Morrison & Foerster, Venture Law Group and Hogan & Hartson (now Hogan Lovells). As an attorney, she counseled clients primarily in the technology and corporate practice areas. Her experience as a trusted and valued counselor underlie her ability to act as a strategic business partner to those she coaches.

Kathy received her Juris Doctor and her Master in Business Administration from the University of Texas in Austin and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Art History, from UCLA. Kathy is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and the Institute of Professional Coaching Association (ICPA).

When not coaching Kathy might be found skiing, swimming, doing yoga or reading with her kids.

Michael LandersMichael Landers – Senior Cross Cultural Business Strategist

Michael Landers is SNP's Senior Cross Cultural Business Strategist.  Michael's work focuses on providing our clients the necessary tools to help them achieve their goals, overcome obstacles, and navigate the complexities of global business with savvy, style, and sensitivity. 

For the past 12 years, Michael has been busy designing and facilitating programs for global executives and managers on global leadership & change management, cross-cultural communication & team building, coaching and personal development and international marketing and negotiation.  Michael has conducted business in over 25 countries which gives him a strong understanding of the pitfalls and challenges business professionals may face while working within the global community. 

He is fluent in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, proficient in Japanese and has a working knowledge of Italian.  He holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Miami and a M.A. in Global Training and HR Management from Lesley University.

When he's not working or traveling, Michael can be found talking as Elmo for his little daughter and hiking and biking Marin's off-leash trails with Callaloo-- an 80 pound hound that he rescued from a local shelter.

Nella McNabbNella McNabb – Instructor

Nella McNabb is a native of London, England, earning a degree in drama and languages from London University.  Following graduation, Nella moved to New York City and then San Francisco where she developed her training, writing and marketing skills working for a leading executive outplacement company. 

She joined SNP almost a decade ago further expanding her coaching and producing skills working with senior executives in a number of leading technology companies.

In addition to speaking fluent German and French, Nella is currently learning Mandarin.

Nella McNabbLuke Kreinberg – Instructor

Luke specializes in helping those he works with move forward in their careers. He helps them gain clarity about objectives as well as identify the competencies they need to flourish in their professional lives. He is currently the Associate Director of the Career Management Group at Haas Business School at UC Berkeley. Some of the companies he’s coached at include: Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, and Yahoo. 

Luke’s coaching approach is steeped in Integral Coaching. Beginning with discovery and gathering info to better understand what motivates the client, what they are looking to step into, and what is getting in their way. Then working with the client in practical, real life ways to help them develop the “muscles” they need to create sustainable change.

Luke graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Davis with a BA in international relations. He received his Coaching Certification from New Ventures West in San Francisco. In his former life, Luke served as a partner in a boutique search firm and developed learning curricula for emerging technology firms. He is the author of The Book of Goals: Achievements, Plans, and Dreams of a Lifetime, which has sold more than 100,000 copies.

Anke ThieleAnke Thiele – Instructor

A coach and consultant for over 15 years, Anke has worked with individuals and corporations across industries in leadership development, organizational effectiveness, change management, and executive coaching. She’s helped young professionals to executives increase leadership effectiveness and achieve higher personal fulfillment.  It’s her personal mission to bring more self-awareness, respect and effectiveness into organizations.

In her coaching work, Anke brings in her academic background and professional experience in three areas - organizational psychology, business management/strategy consulting, as well as her own leadership experience. Anke works with individual contributors, managers, and executives across industries – many of them in the technical, product management and engineering field - to facilitate improved personal effectiveness and business results.  She focuses on areas such as emotional-social intelligence, communications, and leadership presence, among others. She particularly enjoys working in organizations who match her personal values around environmental consciousness, sustainability and true employee engagement.

Clients she has worked with in her consulting and coaching career include Applied Materials, California State Automobile Association, Corning, Deloitte, Divco West Properties, Google, Statoil, Safeway, Sun Microsystems, and The Gap among others. Anke is part of the pool of coaches at UC Berkeley’s Center for Executive Education at the Haas School of Business.

Earlier in her career, Anke worked as a Managing Consultant at Towers Perrin in San Francisco and as Director of HR at Bertelsmann AG in Europe. She received an M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley, Haas School of Business, an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from the University Darmstadt, Germany and graduated from the professional coaching program at New Ventures West in San Francisco. Having worked in more than 10 countries, Anke is multilingual and multicultural.  She is the author and editor of the book Innovative Personnel Marketing for High-Potentials, published in Germany in 1999.

When family and job aren’t keeping her busy, Anke replenishes her energy through running, yoga, hiking and figurative sculpting.

Courtney JoyceCourtney Joyce – Instructor

Courtney has coached one-on-one in a variety of settings, from young children to late-professionals. Courtney's solid understanding of corporate dynamics helps her coach within challenging, fast-paced environments. Her approach is one based on active listening, problem assessment and cooperative solution building. She has a Colorado teaching credential and uses her strong interpersonal and communication skills as to work as a strategic partner with her clients. Courtney's clients leave with confidence and pragmatic approaches needed to be more effective leaders.

Courtney Joyce has an extensive background in marketing, working for over 15 years in the fields of technology and sports marketing. She has held leadership roles at AOL, Handspring and Webroot Software.

In addition to corporate and education coaching experience, Courtney founded her own triathlon club where she coached a membership of over fifty athletes. In this role Courtney used her lifelong experience as a competitive athlete (including NCAA swimming at UCLA) to motivate and inspire beginning triathletes. In her spare time Courtney likes to swim, bike, run and spend time in the Colorado outdoors (despite the fact that her California blood has yet to appreciate below freezing temperatures).

Ron PotterRon Potter – Instructor

For over a decade, Ron has used his experiences in executive management, marketing and sales, project management, and computing technology – along with his skills as facilitator, consultant, coach, and mentor – to coach leaders in Fortune 100 companies and small companies alike. Ron has worked with clients across a wide range of industries, and his expertise includes leadership development, team-building and corporate culture growth with both seasoned executives and emerging leaders.

Ron Potter's expertise in organizational effectiveness is an outgrowth of more than 30 years spent in corporate leadership positions. Ron’s corporate background is primarily in the fields of engineering and computers and he has taught courses in project management at the university level as well. An entrepreneur and consultant, his skills represent a rich mix of practical experience spanning the fields of executive management, marketing and sales, project management and computer technology.

Ron’s activities away from work are filled with faith, family and fun.  Ron has always given much of his time as an engaged member of his community and church.  Family has grown and expanded and he now has children and grandchildren living in other parts of the world.  This opportunity to visit other cultures has blended right in with his favorite fun activities of golf and photography.

Seamus ByrneSeamus Byrne – Instructor

Seamus has 20 years senior recruitment, HR, training and coaching experience.  After graduating with a BComm from University College Dublin, he spent 7 years teaching and lecturing in Paris.  On moving back to Dublin he specialised in recruitment, joining Oracle in 1997 where he worked for 8 years, initially as Recruitment Manager for Ireland and then as Recruitment Director for Oracle’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region. 

Since 2005 Seamus has worked as a management consultant, trainer and coach with Sapient and Springboard Consulting. Graduate CIPD and certified as a trainer by the Irish Management Institute, Seamus has helped individuals to activate their talent at all levels of their careers – from recent graduates often eager and ambitious to progress rapidly, new managers coming to terms with the challenges of leading a team, to directors and MDs getting to grips with strategic goals and often conflicting agendas.

He brings warmth, enthusiasm and a balanced, common sense approach to his dealings with individuals. 

Fluent in French, with a working knowledge of Spanish, he relishes the opportunity to work across cultures and nationalities.  His French wife, Spanish in-laws and 2 young kids help ensure that the time he can spend on golf, history, philosophy and getting up to speed on behavioural economics is limited…

  Barbara A. Bevilacqua
Barbara A. Bevilacqua – Instructor

Barbara Bevilacqua brings over 20 years of experience, with a background in organizational development, consulting, training, recruiting, coaching and employee relations.  Barbara is a strategic business partner who credits flexibility and adaptability for her success in professional coaching.  She has helped many young entrepreneurs prepare to take on the role of leaders within their organizations.

Barbara led the national leadership development and coaching practice for TriNet for over four years. Her corporate work over the past 20 years has focused on partnering with business leaders to bring out the best in their employees. Barbara enjoys assessing her clients’ needs and encouraging them to find their own solutions, using a skills-based approach. 

Barbara received her BA from Saint Mary’s College of Moraga, CA in English Literature with dual Minors in Business and Italian. She received her Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco.  She is also a Certified Professional Integral Coach through New Ventures West.  

Barbara speaks, reads and writes Italian and Spanish.  During her spare time you can find her hiking in the east bay hills, raising money for Oakland public elementary schools, doing Bikram yoga or attending one of her three sons’ sporting events.
