The Challenge

NetApp U, the company’s training arm, needed a way to consistently train the entire sales force on topics like new initiatives, solutions, products, strategy and competition. Executives wanted to make sure everyone had an opportunity to participate, receive ongoing training development, and achieve those tasks without taking too much time from their sales goal.

the solution: SNP's WebEvents

In order to streamline communication in the most efficient way, SNP developed an Earning By Learning (EBL) WebEvent series. EBLs are hour-long programs that run three times a month. The programs feature the SVP of sales as the host, with guests ranging from sales reps who share success stories and best practices to product marketing managers that inform the sales organization on the latest and greatest products. By using the interactive chat and polling functions of WebEvents, NetApp managers ensure their people stay tuned through the entire EBL and receive all the critical training information .
