PeopleSoft was the world’s second largest enterprise application provider, with $2.8 billion in annual revenues, $1.6 billion in cash, 12,000 employees and more than 11,000 customers in 150 countries. They were a world leader in enterprise software for Human Capital Management, Financial Management, and Supply Chain Management.
The Challenge
PeopleSoft’s partner community felt neglected, and often times misinformed on the latest company news, vision and multiple product lines. With different software and technology partners spanning across different product lines, it was difficult to get relevant information in a consistent, timely fashion. With the acquisition of JD Edwards, PeopleSoft’s partner program underwent a number of changes and left partners asking questions about their alliance with PeopleSoft.

Communications Media and Content Services
Alongside executives in PeopleSoft’s Global Alliances and Partner Services organization, SNP helped develop a three-pronged monthly communication plan called “Partner Connection” that kept partners well-informed and motivated. Elements of the monthly communication plan included:
- Partner Connection Live: Hosted by PeopleSoft’s VP of Global Alliances & Partner Services, “Partner Connection Live!” was an interactive, online webcast. The format was interview-driven and included an interactive Q&A session where partners had the freedom and ability to ask questions of the content experts.
- Executive Headliner : A 90-second tactical audio recording of a PeopleSoft executive, giving a high-level update on developments within their business unit. The content was quick, straight to the point, and gave partners a call to action.
- Partner Connection Headline News : A comprehensive newsletter, formatted to highlight the latest news from within PeopleSoft and each of the product pillars. The newsletter contained relevant links to the PeopleSoft website and partner portal, as well as registration links to upcoming events.
