SNP Communications Hires Award-Winning Television Producer
June 1 , 2006

SAN FRANCISCO – SNP Communications Inc, today announced the hiring of Rita Chan as Director of Broadcast Services.
Chan has over 10 years of experience as a television news producer. The last five years were spent at KTVU-2 in the San Francisco market. In 2005, Chan's newscast won the Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Journalism. Chan’s expertise in broadcast journalism made her an ideal candidate for SNP.
“We’ve been doing corporate broadcasting for ten years, and we see a significant trend towards using web-based video as a major tool for executive communication,” said Renn Vara, SNP’s co-founder. “Rita’s experience in producing award-winning broadcast video will help us cater to the growing needs of our Fortune 500 customers.
Chan graduated from UC Davis, where she majored in Rhetoric and Communications
The addition of Chan bolsters SNP’s corporate broadcasting offerings. SNP created the “podcast newsroom,” a video- and audio-outsourced corporate newsroom that covers internal communications, channel communications and well as business-to-consumer communications.
