Feedback is often viewed as a difficult or negative aspect of any relationship, professionally or personally. However, giving constructive feedback is a critical skill that, when done effectively, drives change for the betterment of the individual, team and organization.
This session provides participants with a proven framework for providing difficult feedback. Participants learn through role-playing real life situations with coaching, discussion, and video review.

THE AGENDA

BENCHMARK
Bring a real life scenario to practice, kicking off immediately with a benchmark. We determine and assess your current approach and ways we can up level. Focusing on both nonverbal and delivery techniques, this allows us to use the time as white space making it as practical and real as possible.
THE PREPARATION
Preparation is key for feedback conversations; however, it shouldn’t take an incredible amount of time. Here we discuss the core elements that a person should prepare for a feedback conversation as well as what should trigger the need for one.
HAVING THE CONVERSATION
We review a feedback framework, step-by-step, ensuring understanding. Lastly, we put it all together in a role play so that the fluidity of the conversation can be felt. This includes practicing the communication skills and steps as well as how to deal with emotion, pushback, or deflections.

SNP CLASS EXPERIENCE

This SNP Public Workshop is a two-hour virtual live workshop on Zoom. We create a highly engaging, interactive session where participants ask questions, practice skills, and role-play scenarios.

Participants are encouraged to use real-life examples to make this as practical as possible. We offer a chance to collaborate with other participants in breakout rooms to network, make connections, and share ideas and insights. Every class draws upon the collective intelligence of the group while still giving participants the individual attention they deserve.
